Founded in 1983, WEIDA is a company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities since 2001. With a workforce of over 1,500 employees in Malaysia, Philippines and Middle East, we provide customised solutions and personalised services to meet the needs of municipal and industrial clients in ten synergised divisions: water infrastructure, wastewater Infrastructure, rural infrastructure solutions, renewable energy, stormwater management, trenchless pipe rehabilitation, one-stop engineering solutions, international technology transfer and HDPE products manufacturing. Over the years, the Group has also marked its presence in telecommunication infrastructure and oil palm plantation. WEIDA recorded revenue of RM276.2 million in 2010.n

Today, this home-grown supplier of engineering polyethylene (PE) products has evolved to become the country's history-making iconic project team that leads the first design-build Biogas and Wastewater Treatment Plant project in Malaysia. The Group has also undertaken turnkey water and wastewater treatment projects in the Middle East under the bilateral government initiatives between the Government of Syrian Arab Republic and the Government of Malaysia.n
